About Russian coriander

Why Russian coriander is valued worldwide

The unique soil and climate of southern Russia produce coriander with high essential oil content, a rich aroma and consistent commercial appearance.

High essential oil

A continental climate and fertile black soil deliver elevated essential oil content — a key metric for the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Large, even grain

Russian varieties yield round, size-graded golden-brown seed with an attractive commercial appearance.

Purity & consistency

Modern cleaning and calibration guarantee low admixture and consistent quality batch after batch.

Competitive price

Large growing areas and proximity to the port of Novorossiysk ensure a competitive price at scale.

Standards & technical data

Technical specifications

Batch quality is aligned with ISO 2255:1996 — the dedicated international specification for whole and ground coriander. Supply to a custom buyer specification is available.

Quality control is based on the agreed specification, batch inspection and export documents: phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin and laboratory test report.

Batch preparation

Cleaning, calibration and quality control

Before shipment, each batch is carefully prepared: foreign matter is removed, the commercial appearance is calibrated, and agreed parameters are checked. This approach helps ensure batch consistency and predictable quality for the importer.

Cleaning

The batch is cleaned from foreign and extraneous matter. Impurity control follows the approach of ISO 927:2009.

Calibration

Calibration helps form a uniform batch by size, colour and commercial appearance before packing.

Quality control

Sampling and batch checks are performed under an agreed control program with reference to ISO 948:1980, ISO 928:1997 and ISO 1208:1982.

Flexible packaging for your needs

Standard packaging is 25 kg polymer (polypropylene) bags. Other packaging options are available at the buyer’s request.

Growing regions

Grown in the fertile south of Russia

Our coriander is grown across three key agricultural regions with ideal conditions for grain crops.

One of Russia’s largest agricultural regions with rich black soil and developed logistics.

Krasnodar Krai

Russia’s breadbasket with a warm climate, high yields and proximity to the Black Sea.

Stavropol Krai

A continental climate and fertile steppe deliver consistently high grain quality.
